FAQs

No. While familiarity with ACIM, I AM Discourses, or other wisdom traditions is helpful, it's not required. What matters is your commitment to practice and your genuine readiness for this work. I'll teach you what you need to know.

No. The Middle Way is not a religion and doesn't belong to any denomination. It's a practice path that draws from multiple wisdom traditions—Christian mysticism, Buddhism, Taoism, ACIM, I AM teachings, and more. You don't need to convert to anything, believe specific doctrines, or abandon your current faith (if you have one). What matters is direct experience of the Divine, however you understand it.
-
Commitment is essential, and showing up weekly is part of that commitment. Life happens—you might miss a session occasionally due to illness, travel, or emergencies. But chronic absence defeats the purpose. If you can't commit to weekly attendance, this isn't the right time for you.
-
Yes, as long as you can make the session time work. We'll schedule sessions at a time that works for the group.
-
Spiritual coaching is typically short-term, goal-oriented, and focused on specific outcomes. The Middle Way is ongoing spiritual formation—like a modern mystery school. We're not fixing problems; we're cultivating awakening. This is deep practice, not quick fixes.
-
Yes. This price reflects the value of dedicated weekly guidance, ongoing support, years of study and practice I bring, and the small group format that allows real depth. It also ensures you're serious. When people invest significantly, they show up differently. If the price feels too high, this may not be the right time. If it feels like an obvious yes despite the cost, that's a sign you're ready.

Minimum 6 months to establish real foundation. Ideally 1-2 years to go deep. Some students may stay for 3+ years, moving into advanced work and potentially becoming teachers themselves.
-
Some students complete the foundation and continue independently. Others move into Year 2 for deeper studies (mysticism, cosmology, energy work). A few may eventually become teachers within The Middle Way lineage. It depends on your path and calling.
-
Perfect. The Middle Way isn't about blind acceptance. It's about direct experience. Try the practice. If it doesn't serve you, we discuss it. Some practices will resonate immediately; others will make sense over time. Your discernment is part of the path.
-
Yes. This work complements therapy but doesn't replace it. If you're in acute crisis or dealing with severe mental health issues, please address those with appropriate professionals first. This path is for spiritual development, not clinical treatment.
That said, I’ve worked with students in the past who graduated their traditional therapy during this work, and I am confident to attribute much of those breakthroughs to the dedicated practice that we do here.
-
Spiritually centered transformation and healing. Most psychological, physiological, and emotional issues are addressed in that umbrella.

You should have:
- An established meditation or contemplative practice (even if basic)
- Genuine commitment to daily spiritual work
- Financial capacity to invest $1000/month comfortably
- Time for weekly sessions and daily practice
- Willingness to be challenged and uncomfortable at times -
The Middle Way is spiritual practice, not therapy or crisis intervention. If you're in acute crisis, severe depression, or active addiction, please work with appropriate mental health professionals first. This work can complement therapy, but it doesn't replace it. You need to be stable enough to commit to consistent practice and show up weekly. If you're not sure whether you're ready, mention it in your application and we can discuss.
